What truly sets our sauna and cold plunge baths apart is their deep connection to the local environment. The materials for the sauna were sourced within a two-mile radius of Riverdale, using larch that was cut, milled on the estate. Even the wood that fuels the sauna’s stove is locally sourced, ensuring that every element of this wellness experience is as sustainable as possible.
Additionally, our sauna is completely transportable. Whether it’s for private wellness events, corporate gatherings, or special occasions in the meadow, the sauna can be towed and set up to create a unique focal point wherever needed.

Felt hats are provided, they are worn to protect the head from excessive heat in a sauna, as the head heats up much faster than the rest of the body; the felt material acts as an insulator, trapping a layer of cooler air around the head, allowing for a more comfortable and longer sauna session.
